He takes charge of a duffle bag for a friend who is going to prison to serve a six-month term. Although the friend warns Eddie never to open the bag, Eddie cannot restrain his curiosity and opens the bag.

Eddie finds the bag stuffed with cash and starts taking money from it. He uses the money to gamble and makes a profit from the first few games. But his lucky streak does not last long, and he soon ends up owing $21,000 to the bag.

Molly is a successful Olympic skier till an accident cut short her career. She moves to Los Angeles, gets a job in one of the clubs, and starts hosting illegal poker games. When her boss finds this out and fires her, Molly finds another place to host illegal poker games for wealthy and famous clients. She catches the attention of the FBI when she moves to New York and gets addicted to drugs.

The movie was a huge success and made more than $59 million. Also, it attracted several positive reviews and became acclaimed as Chastain’s best movie. Idris Elba played the role of Molly’s lawyer, Michael Cera played the role of Player X, and Kevin Costner played the role of Molly’s father. Netflix recently announced they will produce a new documentary on Molly Bloom and her struggles.

Jack had to become a casino worker to raise money to pay his bills when he could not make it as a writer. Soon, Jack gets over-involved with his job and becomes a part of a casino heist.

Croupier is a 1998 UK movie with a £3 million budget. The movie captured viewer attention only after its US release.

The 2007 Ocean’s Thirteen is the final movie, in which a casino owner blackmails a member of Ocean’s gang. The gang decides to teach the casino owner a lesson by destroying the inaugural night of the casino.
