Maria Ho has come out with flying colors out of the invite-only Celebrity Poker Tour (CPT) Game Night I event held on March 16-17 weekend at the PokerGO Studio at ARIA off the Las Vegas Strip.
$10,000 and Gold CPT Title Belt for Ho
The poker pro and commentator who has already scooped up over $4.5 million in tournaments over her career defeated her skilled competitors, adding $10,000 to her total.
She also took home the gold CPT title belt and marked the third consecutive time when a woman has won a CPT event, following Princess Love in February, and Qiyu “Nemo” Zhou at the inaugural event in 2023.
Ho played against Tommy Unold who ended up as the runner-up, scoring $5,000, and NFL star running back Austin Ekeler who took the third position at the final table.
Poker influencer and vlogger Brad Owen came in fourth position, followed by the poker player who currently boasts of having the largest number of followers of anyone in the poker industry, Alexander “Wolfgang Poker” Selbt.
The Chicago resident has gathered little over $28,000 in total live earnings so far.
Social Media Influencers at the Final Table
The last three seats at the final table were taken by other three influencers and social media personalities. Trent “BookItWithTrent” Attyah who is the founder of the Book It Sports App came in sixth, followed by American social media personality and bare-knuckle boxer known for his TikTok and YouTube videos, Bryce Hall in seventh, and Ethan “Rampage” Yau in eighth.
The Quincy, MA resident has scored $2,459,646 in total live earnings according to The Hendon Mob while his best live cash was $894,240.
After busting out of the tournament, many of the influencers stuck around and enjoyed the open bar and the free spread provided by the organizers.
Ho together with other invitees finally went to the poker room at Resorts World Casino for some cash poker games, rounding out the fun night for all participants.
