888poker’s 2019 XL Eclipse With $1.4m GTD Goes Live Next Month

888poker’s XL Eclipse is set to return in September, promising 11 days of intense poker action, with $1.4 million in combined guaranteed prize money up for grabs!

The highly-anticipated tournament series will run on September 12-22, with three events taking place each day throughout the festival and follows on from similar events XL Blizard and XL inferno

The events are categorised into a standard event (with buy-ins ranging from $109 to $320), a mini version of the standard event which carries a smaller buy-in, and a late edition with entry fees in between the two. The series will feature a wide variety of formats, including Deep Stack, Progressive Knock-Out (PKO), 6-max, and 8-max.

Packed With Exciting Events

Some of the key highlights during this online poker festival are three High Roller events. All three of these events will be taking place on September 17. Players can take part in a $55 buy-in Mini High Roller offering $30,000 in guarantees, or take a shot at a $20,000-guaranteed Late High Roller event costing $109 to enter, or go all the way up to the biggest buy-in event on the schedule, a $320 buy-in High Roller with $100,000 up for grabs.

There will also be a trio of Main Events featuring the biggest guarantees on the series, with players competing for a combined prize pool worth $565,000. The Main Events come in three different buy-ins: The $250 buy-in XL Eclipse Main Event is the cream of the crop, with $500,000 in guarantees. Last year, this event was taken down by Roman “Romeopro33” Romanovsky after defeating a field of 710 players for $187,500.

The two other Main Events, the $33 buy-in Mini Main Event and the $5.50 buy-in Micro Main Event offer at least $50,000 and $15,000 in guarantees, respectively.

The series kicks off with three Opening Events, with buy-ins of $109, $16.50, and $55. They will then be followed by another trio of events taking place each day in different formats, with buy-ins starting from as low as $5.50.

Regardless of the size of their bankrolls, players will be given the opportunity to take part in the bigger buy-in events via a series of satellites running on 888poker.
