US Poker Players Get Crack At WSOP Paradise via Cash Games Countdown Promo

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) recently announced that poker players will be able to travel to the Bahamas in December to win coveted WSOP gold bracelets.

WSOP Paradise is the latest addition to the 2023 WSOP schedule, with the inaugural event running from Dec 3-14 at the Atlantis Resort & Casino on Paradise Island.

The WSOP is once again looking to attract big numbers, as it hopes to build upon the record-breaking success of this summer’s Las Vegas festival. To do that, the WSOP, through its online platform WSOP.com, is awarding packages to the upcoming winter series. Cash game players in all WSOP.com markets in the US may take part in the new promo.

Cash Games Countdown For US Players

The “Cash Games Countdown” promo is now active, having launched on August 8. To join, cash games players only need to opt in and collect 100 Action Player Points (APP), otherwise known as Wagering Points, by playing their real-money poker cash games of choice.

For every 100 points that the player accumulates, they get one entry into a random drawing where they can win a WSOP Paradise package. To boost their chances of winning, players may earn up to four entries for the drawing.

The promo runs until August 29 and excludes Heads-Up cash games. Players need to play cash games on at least three separate days and earn at least one APP each day to be eligible for the promo. The drawing takes place on August 30.

Cash Games Countdown is open to WSOP.com players in New Jersey, Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. The package covers the $5,000 buy-in into the WSOP Paradise Main Event, along with five nights’ accommodation at a luxurious hotel, plus $750 worth of travel allowance.

15 Bracelets Up for Grabs at WSOP Paradise

The brand-new WSOP Paradise will award 15 bracelets, with over $50 million in guarantees on offer. The WSOP is expected to boost efforts to attract more players, given that the festival will run simultaneously with two other major events, the PokerStars’ European Poker Tour Prague and the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas which returns for its second year.

Scheduled ahead of WSOP Paradise is WSOP Europe which runs from October 25 to November 15 at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. The series also features 15 bracelet events and a guarantee of €15 million.
