The World Series of Poker (WSOP) who has a successful 2023 WSOP Main Event has released further details regarding its upcoming festival in the Bahamas.

The 2023 WSOP Paradise will award $50,000,000 in guarantees across a total of 15 bracelet events. It will run from December 3 – 14, 2023 at the Atlantic Casino on Paradise Island.

WSOP Paradise – Key Details So Far

The WSOP Paradise will run in partnership with online poker operator GGPoker. There are 15 gold bracelets up for grabs throughout the series, with the schedule set to include various formats to accommodate as many players as possible. Organizers have yet to announce the full schedule of the festival but based on the initial details, the minimum entry fee is $1,000, with the largest buy-in set at $100,000.

The series will be headlined by the Main Event which features a buy-in of $5,000. This is already half of the entry fee of the Las Vegas Main Event, but organizers are still offering a more affordable route for players to secure a seat into the tournament.

GGPoker will be running multiple satellites and promotions that will send at least 1,000 lucky players to the Caribbean island. The Main Event carries a guaranteed prize pool of $15,000,000.

Events To Watch Out For

The full schedule of the series is still being finalized, but organizers have confirmed a number of key events, including two high-roller events with buy-ins of $50,000 and $100,000, featuring guarantees of $2,000,000 and $5,000,000 respectively.

The signature GGMillion$ event will also be part of the series where players will compete for a huge $10,000,000 guarantee for a buy-in of $25,000. There will be a couple of PLO tournaments as well, each boasting a seven-figure guarantee.

Fans of the Mystery Bounty format will be delighted to know that WSOP Paradise will also feature at least one event played in the format – a $1,500 event with a huge $5,000,000 guarantee.

The highlight will be the $5,000 buy-in, $15M GTD Main Event which will require at least 3,000 entries to hit the target. Given the record attendance in the Main Event in Las Vegas, it won’t be surprising if the Bahamas version also attracts a massive field.
