The Venetian Las Vegas has announced its exciting plans to upgrade and expand what is currently one of the biggest and most frequented poker rooms in Las Vegas, further turning it into the city’s largest poker room.

The changes will come this summer when tournament and cash players will be able to visit the new location that will be moved to the second floor of the luxury resort that offers an assortment of high-end amenities.

The Upgrade Will Include 50 Poker Tables

Thanks to the second-floor relocation, players will be much closer to both The Palazzo self-parking garage and the Grand Canal Shoppes with cobblestone walkways and illuminated sky ceilings that attract a large number of shoppers every year.

Spread across 14,000 square feet, the new room will showcase 50 poker rooms, considerably boosting entertainment for poker aficionados.

The location will also feature several TVs all across the surface, a self-serve coffee machine and soda fountain, restrooms, and even USB and USB-C charging ports at every seat at the tables.

“An Elevated Playing Experience” with a Streaming Room

The grand expansion, which was described as “a significant milestone” in their efforts to reinterpret the gaming experience by chief gaming officer Danny Ruiz, will also have its streaming room.

The latter will not only stream tournament cash tables and final tables but it will also enable poker players to coordinate vlogging sessions.

Ruiz also called the new design of the room one that will offer an elevated playing experience, further adding that “everything from design details to enhancements were made with the players in mind”.

The Venetian was inspired by the feedback obtained from some of the world’s most iconic poker pros who have attended the most popular tournaments and cash games since its grand opening in 2006.

The Venetian’s director of poker operations, Tommy LaRosa, expressed excitement regarding the unveiling of the room in the summer which should once again prove why their venue offers “an unparalleled poker experience
