  • SPINS Overdrive is a new SPINS format that gives players more multipliers and deeper stacks
  • The launch of the SPINS Overdrive is accompanied by a new challenge awarding extra prizes
  • The SPINS leaderboards will now be called SPINS Overdrive Leaderboards

partypoker has launched a new format for its popular SPINS jackpot sit & go tournaments.

The new offering, called “SPINS Overdrive”, allows players to enjoy deeper stacks, with plenty of more multipliers to win. This represents a significant shift from the old format which generated only eight possible prize pool multipliers before the start of the game.

SPINS Overdrive – What’s In It for Players?

The prize pool multipliers of the new SPINS Overdrive now have decimal places, which means players can now look forward to thousands of multipliers, unlike the traditional format.

Other changes recently implemented by partypoker include increasing the starting stack, introducing longer blind levels, and extending the time bank especially if bigger prizes are at stake. The site has come up with all of these improved features while maintaining the fast-paced nature of the game.

The possibility of hitting the bigger prizes is still much lower compared to hitting the smaller ones, as was the case in the past, but according to partypoker, players can expect fewer 2x multipliers as part of the new format, which is great news for those who love to play SPINS.

partypoker has left the buy-ins unchanged – they start at $0.25, with the highest buy-in set at $100. There are no changes to the minimum prize pools as well, with players able to win at least $0.50 for the $0.25 games and $100 for the $50 tournaments.

The highest multipliers for the games are set at 12,000x, which means up to $3,000 are up for grabs in the $0.25 poker games, while players may compete for a share of the maximum prize of $1.2 million in the $100 SPINS Overdrive tournaments.

But here’s the most exciting part – the maximum prize pool multiplier for the $5 buy-in games is set at 240,000x, which means players can win a slice of as much as $1.2 million in prize pool for such a modest buy-in.

6th Gear Challenge

The launch of the new SPINS Overdrive is complemented by a new contest called the “6th Gear Challenge” which involves six challenges that players need to complete for a chance to win $1,000 worth of tickets.

For each completed level, players are rewarded with a SPINS Overdrive card which contains prizes ranging from 6th Gear Challenge freerolls to $1,000 in tickets.

Extra prizes remain on offer via the SPINS leaderboards which have now been renamed to SPINS Overdrive Leaderboards.
