Nadya Magnus Encourages Women To Play 2024 WSOP Main Event

Nadya Magnus won the 2021 Global Poker Index (GPI) Player of the Year (POY) award and has a pretty successful poker career accumulating just under $2 million in winnings according to the Hendon Mob. Nadya who is Russian by birth now lives in America and is very active on the poker circuit.

Encouraging Women To Play 2024 WSOP Main Event

Nadya took to X to let her followers know that she is launching her own small promo to encourage female poker players to take part in the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event where the buy-in is $10,000.

Nadya said that she would be giving away 2 x $10,000 Main Event seats to 2 female poker players.

This is not the first time that Nadya has engaged in special promotions to encourage female poker players around the world. She ran a similar promotion and gave away 1 x $10,000 WSOP Main Event seat in 2022 to one lucky female poker player.

She teamed up in 2023 with the Poker League of Nations (PLON) to give away one WPT Championship seat along with a number of other promos.

Terms and Conditions Of The Promo

On X, Nadya confirmed that she will sponsor Two WSOP Main Event for two qualifying females. These two seats will be given to the two female players who end up on top of the 2024 GPI rankings as of 31 May 2024. She will confirm the names of those two players on X on June 1, 2024.

Do note that this promotion is only applicable to female poker players who total career prize money as per The Hendon Mob is less than $150k as per 31 Dec 2023.

Nadya will then give the two winners up to 5 days to get in touch with her on X and claim their individual 2024 WSOP Main Event seats. If the winners do not get in touch with her within the stipulated 5 day period, then the seats will be given to the next female who qualifies based on the GPI rankings.
