Andrew Neeme has been announced as the newest ambassador of the World Poker Tour (WPT). As part of his new role, the poker vlogger will attend WPT events all over the world and will also be involved in the tour’s promotional efforts with online partners.
In addition to that, Neeme will also be tasked with creating exclusive content for the WPT, as the WPT places a bigger emphasis on live streaming content.
Neeme Joins Fellow Vlogger Brad Owen
Neeme began his vlogging journey back in 2016 and has since attracted 176,000 subscribers on YouTube, making him one of the most popular figures in the poker content creation industry. Being part of the WPT will provide him with a much larger platform to showcase his talent and skills which will open up plenty of opportunities for his career.
Another reason for the Michigan native to be very excited about joining one of the world’s most prestigious poker tours is the fact that his long-time friend and fellow vlogger Brad Owen was also signed by the brand in late April.
Apart from their pioneering work in poker content creation, Neeme and Owen are popular for hosting the biggest live poker meet-up series in the US. The pair often travel to different parts of the country for their meet-up games (MUGs).
The duo also recently embarked on a poker club venture alongside Doug Polk, becoming majority owners of the largest poker room in Texas, The Lodge.
Now, Neeme and Owen’s companionship and collaboration will be further strengthened through WPT.
Neeme To Attend Debut Event with WPT Later This Year
Reacting to his ambassador deal, Neeme said it felt special and surreal that he is now part of the tour that helped him and countless others to get into the game. He is thrilled to work with the brand and deliver more poker content and MUGs around the world.
WPT CEO Adam Pliska is likewise delighted to welcome Neeme into the team. Referring to Neeme as a “trailblazer” in the industry, Pliska said partnering with him is a natural fit for the brand. The tour’s CEO recognized Neeme’s incredible influence in the world of poker, which he said can be felt anywhere the game is played.
According to the WPT, Neeme’s debut event as a brand ambassador will take place later this year. He will have tons of opportunities to connect more with his fans and followers all over the world through his attendance at various WPT events.
