3 Off-the-Felt Activities To Enjoy During 2023 WPT World Championship Series

WPT World ChampionshipThe highly-anticipated WPT World Championship series kicks off on November 29 at Wynn Las Vegas featuring more than two dozen events.

The event will be headlined by the record-breaking $10,400 buy-in, $40M GTD WPT World Championship No-Limit Hold’em.

There will be plenty of off-the-felt activities as well, including a tournament strategy workshop, courtesy of LearnWPT, the official poker education platform of the WPT.

In addition to that, poker enthusiasts may reserve seats in the audience for free to watch the finale of some of the festival’s key events live at Wynn.

# Watch Party for the Big Finales

Wynn will be hosting a viewing party for the final table of the following events: WPT Prime Championship (December 19, 4:00 p.m.), WPT Big One for One Drop (December 20, 4:00 p.m.) and WPT World Championship (December 21, 4:00 p.m.).

# LearnWPT Interactive Workshop

The WPT will conduct a two-day interactive workshop on December 4-5 aimed at helping you jumpstart your tournament play. This event includes lab sessions with the coaches from Team LearnWPTTony Dunst, Eric “Rizen” Lynch, and Andrew “LuckyChewy” Lichtenberger.

You’ll learn key strategies to correct common errors and receive clear guidance and advice as you play, with the instructors also providing personalized analysis and feedback on your game in real time.

On top of that, you’ll get the chance to compete in a satellite tournament which will award a $1,100 Prime Championship ticket to the top two finishers. The Prime Championship event takes place on December 7.

# Phil Ivey WPT Duel

Two ClubWPT qualifiers will have the experience of a lifetime when they compete against poker legend and WPT ambassador Phil Ivey in a heads-up match. Be part of this memorable moment by watching the action live at Wynn’s Encore Ballroom on December 10 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Other activities to enjoy at the venue as part of the WPT World Championship series include the WPT Prime Championship Halftime Show (December 8, 3:30 p.m. at Encore Ballroom) and a Players Party (December 11, 8:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. at Area15).
