The 2023 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) is taking place in less than a month’s time at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. The action kicks off on October 25 and runs through November 14, with a total of 15 gold bracelets and €15 million in guarantees up for grabs.
As usual, the series is headlined by the €10,350 Main Event which comes with €5,000,000 in guarantees. But we all know this tournament is not for everyone, especially those competing on a budget.
Here, we have compiled a list of events offering huge value to players, as they feature more affordable buy-ins but decent guarantees. So if your bankroll won’t allow you to play the Main Event, here are other events to consider:
NLH Opener
The 2023 WSOPE opens with a bang on October 25, as the first event on the schedule, the NLH Opener, features a massive €1,000,000 guarantee (up from €500,000 in 2022) for a buy-in of only €350.
Players can enter via six starting flights running from October 25-28, but they have another option to enter the No Limit Texas Holdem tournament – that’s via an €80 satellite also scheduled for October 25. What’s more interesting is that the tournament will award around 12 tickets for the WSOPE Main Event.
Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Max
The second event on the schedule offers huge value as well. The Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Max features a buy-in of €550 and a guarantee of €300,000. It takes place from October 27-31.
Mini Main Event
Another event to watch out for is the Mini Main Event which costs €1,350 to enter and features a huge €2,000,000 guarantee. The tournament runs from October 29 – November 4 and features four Day 1 flights. Satellites are also available for a much lower price of €200.
NLH Colossus
The Colossus event usually attracts a massive turnout and this year will be no different. With an accessible buy-in of €550 and an increased guarantee of €1.5 million, plenty of players are likely to take a shot, with seven starting flights available. The NLH Colossus event kicks off on November 1 and runs until November 6.
NLH Mystery Bounty
Another WSOPE event players should consider is the NLH Mystery Bounty. For a buy-in of €1,100, players will compete for €300,000 in guarantees. The tournament offers extra prizes in the form of bounties so this will also likely attract a large field. The Mystery Bounty event is a two-day affair, scheduled for November 7-8.
