“The Last Dance” Team Filming A Doyle Brunson Documentary
Doyle Brunson sits in second place on the list of the most number of WSOP bracelets.
The 88 year old has 10 WSOP bracelets and will look to add to that collection as he is coming out of retirement to play a couple of events at the 2021 WSOP which starts Sep 30 in Las Vegas.
Brunson who is very active on Twitter informed the poker world that a new documentary covering his life was in the process of being filmed.
The producers had already completed a 30 day shoot and still have more to go. Brunson remained tight lipped as to when the documentary will be released and which platform will carry it.

He did reveal that the team who filmed the 10 part documentary ‘The Last Dance’ covering Michael Jordan and his epic run with the Chicago Bulls in the 90s were the same team that were developing his documentary. The poker community will be pleased to see that a quality team working on Brunson’s life story as there is a lot to tell!
Brunson’s 10 WSOP gold bracelet wins came over four decades with his first bracelet win taking place in the 1970s and his last bracelet taking place in 2005. He has won bracelets in the 70s, 90s and 2000s. Brunson has also won two WSOP Main Event championships.
In 2019, he was named one of the top four players in the history of poker joining the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Chris Moneymaker and Phil Hellmuth. He is widely respected in the poker community and has over $6.1 million in career prize money based on the Hendon Mob.
Don’t let the Hendon Mob numbers fool you though as Brunson has played loads of high stakes games over the years as top high stakes poker players and entrepreneurs have always wanted to chance to say they played against Brunson. He has won loads of money during these high stakes games which do not feature on the Hendon Mob.

We still don’t know what the documentary will be called but there will be a lot of noise in the poker community when it gets released!
