GGPoker Ontario Currently Running $250K GTD “microFestival” Until Nov. 26

Poker players in Ontario have another major tournament series to sink their teeth into, courtesy of GGPoker.

The operator is currently hosting the “microFestival”, with $250,000 in combined guarantees on offer. The series kicked off on November 5 and will run through November 26 on GGPoker Ontario.

GGPoker Ontario microFestival – Key Details & Highlights

With buy-ins ranging from $2 to $25 and some events offering five- to six-figure guarantees, GGPoker Ontario’s microFestival gives players the chance to compete for big prize pools at affordable buy-ins. The series features hundreds of events, with plenty of tournament formats and poker variants to choose from.

The jam-packed schedule offers a variety of events for the micro and small-stakes players, and as is the case with any major festival, there are a few highlight events that players should watch out for, including the $5.25 micro Ontario Bounty MILLION$ (November 12-19) which comes with $20,000 in guarantees.

The schedule also includes the Omaholic Mystery Bounty MILLION$ (November 19-26) which also features $20,000 in guaranteed prize money for a buy-in of only $21.

The festival culminates in the Mystery Bounty MILLION$ Main Event which costs $21 to enter and awards a huge $100,000 guarantee. The tournament is scheduled for November 19-26.

All three tournaments are Staged events, meaning they will run in phases, with Stage 1 taking place for seven days. Survivors meet again during Stage 2 to play down to a winner. These three events are among the biggest events on the schedule, accounting for over half of the festival’s total guarantees.

Players shouldn’t overlook the rest of the events though, as every week throughout the series, there are a few tournaments offering guarantees of between $1,000 and $7,500 for buy-ins of $10 to $25.
