Day 4 of $3,500 Wynn Millions Championship Led by Haim Gabay
Summary:
- The third day of the $3,500 Wynn Millions Championship has finished with Haim Gabay as the chip leader.
- His victory came at the end of four 90-minute levels of play.
- The 14 remaining players will come back on Tuesday at 12 p.m. for Day 4.
The five-day $3,500 Wynn Millions Championship has seen Day 3 come to an end with 2,364 GPI-ranked American poker player Haim Gabay as chip leader.
Gabay managed to beat his opponents after four 90-minute levels of play. He currently has the chip lead over 186,057 GPI-ranked German Chris Frank.
Frank is the only other player with over six million and he preserved his lead over the chips for most of the day, partially due to David Yue and David Joe McKeehen’s double knockout.
Day 4 Is Back on Tuesday
On Day 3, only 45 players made it. The championship will continue with Day 4 on Tuesday at 12 p.m. on Level 25 with blinds at 30,000/60,000/60,000.
They will be prepared to play down to the final table before the finale on Wednesday and fight for the top prize of $596,067.
There were 1,180 officially recorded entries for the championship, generating a guaranteed prize pool of $3,746,500.
Among the other 2 players that will join Haim Gabay and Frank, we can mention Paul Lozano Martin (US) and Jesse Kandola (US), who came in on the fourth and fifth positions, respectively, followed by David Dowdy rounding out the top five players qualified for the next stage.
Dowdy is followed by the chip leader of Day 2, Martin Zamani, who had an impressive spike when Day 3 started but gradually started losing several pots as the night was getting near an end.
Zamani started Day 3 strong after claiming he had miscounted his chip stack the night before but quickly made up the difference and even managed to get an early chip lead.
Dominick Sarle (US), Jeremy Felicetti (US), Daniel Maor (US), Meerwais Hussaini (US), Paul Hizer (UK), Pedro Ingles (Spain), Steven Jones (US) and Neel Murthy (US) are the other players who will be seated at the tables on Day 4.
All final 14 players took home $32,918 guaranteed.
