The partypoker MILLIONS Festival Malta officially came to a close this week after nearly two weeks of action at the prestigious Casino Portomaso. In the end, three players emerged as the biggest winners of the festival.

Argentina’s Jacques Ammiel Blit won the €550 buy-in, €1 million GTD partypoker Grand Prix, while Mario Trattou triumphed in the €3,000 partypoker MILLIONS Malta Main Event. Bart Lybaert also claimed victory in the €5,300 Hydra Entertainment High Roller.

Blit Dominates €1M GTD partypoker Grand Prix

Blit was second in chips when the live-streamed finale kicked off, but the Argentinian managed to take hold of the majority of the chips as he advanced to the one-on-one match against Italy’s, Marcello Favaloro.

Blit held on to his position throughout heads-up play and ultimately topped the tournament with his winning AhQh poker hand versus the Jc2s of Favaloro. Blit walked away with the title along with the €145,000 top prize, while Favaloro earned €86,000 for his efforts.

Completing the final table in the €550 partypoker Grand Prix were Eros Nastasi (3rd, €61,000), Massimiliano Ferro (4th, €45,000), Salvatore Ritrovato (5th, €31,000), Marios Mansour (6th, €20,500), Juuso Keskitalo (7th, €14,500), and Andrea Benelli (8th, €11,700).

Trattou, Lybaert End Campaign with One Title Each

Trattou was almost out of the game during Day 2 of the €3,000 partypoker MILLIONS Malta Main Event as he was left with just two big blinds at one point, but the UK poker pro soldiered on to reach heads-up play against Italy’s Domenico Gala. When everything was said and done, it was Trattou who ended up lifting the trophy with €93,000 in first-place prize. Gala settled for second place with €64,000 in winnings.

partypoker ambassador Matt Staples also finished strong in the tournament, finishing 4th for €31,900, his best live cash thus far.

The other players who reached the final table were Fabio Peluso (3rd, €41,000), Erik Lindqwist (5th, €24,510), Giuliano Boellis (6th, €19,400), Alberto Cigliano (7th, €15,900), and Adam Hari (8th, €13,700).

The biggest buy-in event of the festival, the €5,300 Malta Hydra Entertainment High Roller, was won by Lybaert for €72,864 after outclassing a 44-entry field. Michael Molenaar finished runner-up for €49,632. The remaining final table contenders included Kamil Sokol (3rd, €31,680), Teun Mulder (4th, €24,288), Farid Jattin (5th, €17,952), and Leo Margets (6th, €14,784).
