Major live poker action continues in Las Vegas, with the Bellagio Resort & Casino running a major tournament series that gets underway this August.

The “Bellagio Kickoff Classic” offers $800,000 in guarantees spread across 12 events, with the schedule headlined by a $500K GTD Main Event.

Bellagio Kickoff Classic – Main Highlights

The Bellagio Kickoff Classic runs from August 31 to September 10 at Bellagio Las Vegas. The festival culminates in the $3,500 buy-in Bellagio Classic No-Limit Hold’em Main Event which features a $500,000 guarantee. The tournament takes place from September 7-10 and has two Day 1 flights running on September 7 and 8.

Players sit down with a 50,000 initial chip stack played to one-hour levels. Re-entry is available up to the start of Level 10 for each of the two starting flights. Day 2 is scheduled for September 9, with the final table playing out on September 10.

Bellagio will be hosting three $400 buy-in milestone satellites into the Main Event which will run on September 5 (5 p.m.) and September 6 (12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m.). Each satellite will award five seats to the Main Event.

The schedule includes other key events, such as two mystery bounty events, each with a guarantee of $50,000. The first one, which will be played in Pot-Limit Omaha format with a buy-in of $800, will be the opening event on August 31. The other one is a No-Limit Hold’em mystery bounty with a $600 entry fee that runs on September 5.

There are three $600 No-Limit Hold’em events taking place on September 1, 2, and 4, each guaranteeing $30,000. A $600 Seniors event, scheduled for September 3, also offers $30,000 in guarantees. It is open to players aged 50 or older.
