Best Vegas Live Poker Tournaments That You Can Play In June & Early July

Last Updated on June 15, 2021 Author:Juan Blanco

Las VegasSummer is here and the live poker scene in Las Vegas is gearing up for some busy weeks and months ahead, as major poker tournaments return after being on hiatus for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

There’s no World Series of Poker (WSOP) live festival this summer, but players have plenty of alternatives to compete for massive prizes and tournament glory.

Wynn Las Vegas

Wynn Poker

$10M GTD Wynn Millions

The biggest poker event this summer is the $10 million-guaranteed Wynn Millions, which will run from June 25 to July 3 as part of the Wynn Summer Classic.

The $10,000 buy-in event is the largest ever in Wynn history and is expected to draw some of the world’s best and finest poker pros.

Seasoned amateurs are also likely to take a shot, so it’s going to be an exciting tournament that could become a staple event for years to come, according to Ryan Beauregard, Wynn Director of Poker Operations.

The event features three starting flights and each one will have their own Day 2. Players will kick off the action with 40,000 in chips, initially played to 60-minute levels before progressing to 90 minutes. Players can re-enter once for each starting flight.

Mystery Bounty

If you think the WPT Venetian Main Event just isn’t for you, you have another choice: a Mystery Bounty Event will take place at Wynn from July 2 to 6. It has a lower buy-in of $1,600, with $1.5 million in guarantees up for grabs. It will be followed by a $3,500 buy-in, $1M GTD No-Limit Hold’em event running from July 7-9.

Supposing you busted early and failed to make it to Day 2, you can head over to a PLO $500 bounty event which gets underway on July 9.

The Venetian

Venetian

$3M GTD WPT Main Event at the Venetian

The Venetian is also hosting a huge event in July.

The WPT Main Event features a $5,000 buy-in and comes with a $3 million guarantee.

It will run from July 2-7, with three starting flights.

It is perfectly scheduled right after the Wynn Millions, so you know exactly where to go next after competing in the $10M GTD tournament.

WPTDeepStacks Venetian

You also shouldn’t miss the $2,400 buy-in, $2M GTD WPT DeepStacks at the Venetian which is scheduled to take place from July 9-13. You may enter into the event via three starting flights running from July 9 -11.

There may be no WSOP, but the live action at Wynn and The Venetian will help fill the void.
