ACR Set To Launch Venom PKO III With $5m Gtd In September 2021

Americas Cardroom (ACR) isn’t as big as PokerStars or Partypoker and hence you don’t find ACR running huge online poker festivals with massive guaranteed prize pools.

However in recent times ACR has upped the ante and has come out with some interesting poker tournaments that have pretty good guarantees. One of those poker tournaments is set to take place in September as ACR has confirmed it will run its Venom PKO III tournament that will have a $5 million guarantee.

This multi-million dollar PKO tournament guarantee is not surprising as ACR had a lot of success with Venom PKO I and Venom PKO II.

ACR saw more than 2,000 player registrations for both PKO I and Venom PKO II which saw the guaranteed prize pool exceed $7 million. “Pinguinachica” ended up wining PKO I and took home a whopping $751,068 while “Rydo” won Venom PKO II and collected a cheque for $738,134.

ACR is confident that Venom PKO III with be another success and is one of the reasons why the poker room was willing to go with a $5 million guarantee. Venom PKO III is set to start on Sep 3 with the Venom PKO Fever event and will end with the $2,650 Main Event that will come to a close on Sep 29.

Take Part In ACR Satellite Events

The buy-ins to the different events at Venom PKO III tournament is expected to suit players with different bankrolls. ACR is also running multiple satellite events in the lead up to Venom PKO III Main Event.

The standard satellites to the Main Event on ACR will cost players just $12 but there are also special freerolls along with the Blitz Step qualifiers that are a lot more affordable. The buy-ins for these special freerolls are just $0.11.

Venom is promoting these satellites because there is a lot of online poker action taking place throughout the world and online poker players are bombarded with non-stop poker news. Venom has run some big tournaments recently and while they have done well, some of them have resulted in significant overlays.

ACR ran Venom 5 with a $10 million guarantee earlier this month and ended up with a $175,000 overlay.
