2024 WSOP Las Vegas Dates Could be Announced During WSOP Paradise

As the excitement builds up for the upcoming World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise in the Bahamas, the poker world is also monitoring developments related to the 2024 WSOP live series in Las Vegas.

There is a huge possibility organizers will unveil the dates for the Las Vegas festival during the Bahamas event this December and we can’t help but speculate on what the schedule would look like, the number of gold bracelets up for grabs, and the possible promotions running as part of the series.

2024 WSOP Could Run from May 28 to July 16

It would be hard to imagine the WSOP Las Vegas series not taking place during the summer. Organizers will surely stick to the May – July schedule, with the 55th edition of the series likely to run from May 28 to July 16, similar to the 2023 dates.

Poker players and fans can look forward to another massive summer schedule as the WSOP could award between 95 and 100 gold bracelets. As usual, the series will culminate in the Main Event which is expected to take place from July 3 to July 16. The schedule could also include a bracelet event named in honor of the late poker legend Doyle Brunson.

The 54th edition of the festival shattered multiple records, including the largest WSOP Main Event field in history – a staggering 10,043 entries – which resulted in a record-breaking prize pool of $93,339,900.

Aiming for Another Record-Breaking Year

Overall, the 2023 series became the biggest WSOP festival ever in terms of attendance and prize pool, generating more than $402 million in total prize money. The WSOP does not rest on its laurels so it’s safe to say that organizers will be aiming for another record-breaking series in 2024.

The success of the 2023 series is partly attributable to the promotions and campaigns run by the WSOP and its partners in the lead-up to and throughout the festival. They are expected to double their efforts in 2024, with the WSOP and GGPoker likely to run tons of online qualifiers for the key events. Online satellites may start as early as January on WSOP.com.
