  • The 2023 WCOOP festival gets underway on September 10

The PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) returns for another edition this year, with players hoping to follow the steps of Mikita Badziakouski and others.

The event kicks off on September 10, with $80 million in guarantees up for grabs.

If you’re on a budget but are on the hunt for big winnings, the 2023 WCOOP schedule has plenty of events that won’t hurt your pocket. You can even enter the series for not more than $33 and get the chance to compete for six-figure guarantees.

Here, we have compiled a list of NLHE events that offer massive value with their small buy-ins.

$5.50 WCOOP Events

The smallest WCOOP buy-in is set at $5.50. For this entry fee, you’ve got lots of big-value events to choose from, and our top choices include the WCOOP 02-L: $5.50 NLHE [WCOOP Kickoff] which takes place on September 10.

For this modest buy-in, you’ll be competing for $50,000 in guarantees. Also on the list is WCOOP 27-L: $5.50 NLHE [Deep Stack] which has a $40,000 guarantee and is scheduled for September 16.

$11 Events

The schedule also includes several $11 buy-in events with five to six-figure guarantees, starting with WCOOP 29-L: $11 NLHE [PKO, Saturday KO]. This event runs on September 16 and features a huge $150,000 guarantee.

You might also consider playing WCOOP 62-L: $11 NLHE [4-Max, Turbo, PKO], $60K GTD (September 23) and WCOOP 78-L: $11 NLHE [6-Max, PKO, Freezeout], $50K GTD (September 26).

$22 Events

The 2023 WCOOP has over 100 events and many of them have buy-ins of just $22.

Our top picks for this level include WCOOP 19-L: $22 NLHE [7-Max, PKO, Single Re-Entry], $100K GTD (September 13), WCOOP 65-L: $22 NLHE [Sunday Warm-Up], $165K GTD (September 24) and WCOOP 97-L: $22 NLHE [PKO, Sunday Warm-Up, Freezeout], $200K GTD (October 1).

$33 Events

As the buy-in climbs, so does the guarantee, so if you’re prepared to spend a few dollars more in exchange for bigger prizes, there are $33 events you can play to achieve your goal.

Here are some of them: WCOOP 17-L: $33 NLHE [7-Max, PKO], $200K GTD (September 12), WCOOP 68-L: $33 NLHE [6-Max, Freezeout], $100K GTD (September 24) and WCOOP 92-L: $33 NLHE [PKO], $250K GTD (September 30).
