2023 GGPoker Ontario WSOP Online Series Will Run From Aug 20 to Oct 2

GGPoker finally released the schedule of its WSOP Online series in Ontario. The schedule includes eight bracelet events taking place from August 20 to October 2. The series runs simultaneously with the global WSOP Online.

GGPoker Ontario WSOP Online – Key Details and Highlights

The Ontario version of WSOP Online features a much smaller schedule compared to the global edition which will award 33 bracelets, but it is being billed as Ontario’s most prestigious online poker series, and rightly so, because it offers local players the chance to win the highly-cove<ted gold bracelet without travelling elsewhere.

The eight bracelet events on the schedule have buy-ins of between C$210 and C$2,013, with guarantees ranging from C$100,000 to C$6.7 million. The festival opens with the C$300 Gladiators of Poker Ontario on August 21 which has a guaranteed prize pool of C$150,000. It is followed by the C$210 buy-in, C$200,000 GTD Mystery Millions on August 28.

The schedule also includes a C$100 buy-in, C$100,000 GTD Ontario MILLION$ Mini Main Event which takes place on September 4, as well as the $400 buy-in, C$200,000 GTD Colossus (September 18), and the C$525 buy-in, C$150,000 GTD The Closer (October 2).#

The main highlight of the series is the C$1,000 Main Event which comes with C$500,000 in guaranteed prize money. The final day of the tournament is on September 25.

Satellites to the 2023 WSOP Online Ontario are now running on GGPoker.ca. At the moment, players may qualify for the C$300 Gladiators and C$210 Mystery Millions for buy-ins of C$25 and C$33 respectively. GGPoker is expected to expand the satellite schedule soon so players should stay tuned.

MILLIONAIRE Maker Finale to Take Place at WSOP Paradise

Another exciting event to watch out for in the upcoming WSOP Online series in Ontario is the C$2,013 MILLIONAIRE Maker in Paradise which has a guarantee of C$6,722,000. The tournament adopts a hybrid format, with the first stage taking place online on GGPoker.ca. Play concludes when just nine players are left.

These nine players from Ontario will battle it out with 109 other players from the global platform (100) and the NJ/NV pool (9) at the WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas this December.

All finalists will enjoy VIP accommodation at the Atlantis Resort, as well as free lunch for 10 days. The winner will claim the bracelet and the largest chunk of the C$6.7 million (US$5 million) guaranteed prize pool.
