William Hill Pulls Out from 55 Countries

William HillWilliam Hill Plc, the largest bookmaker in the United Kingdom has ceased its operations from 55 countries due to regulatory issues. All affiliates were notified via email that as from the 26th of March, William Hill will withdraw its services from 55 countries.

The most countries that have been withdrawn from William Hill are mostly African countries, and other countries withdrawn are South American States, Asian, and Middle East. William Hill announced that has from the 26th of March, players from the listed countries will no longer be allowed to play real money poker games or make deposits but they will be allowed to withdraw funds from their accounts.

The listed countries add to the 28 markets that William Hill does not take bets from. The announcement came just after the release of William Hill’s financial year-end report. The company did not provide head’s up concerning this matter to keep people well informed.

The financial year end report indicated that Australia had the largest contribution of 48% of operating profit and increase of 15% on net revenue came from the international markets.
