  • The expiry dates for satellites have been extended to 45 days
  • The updated schedule brings the total weekly guarantees to over $3 million

partypoker has introduced new changes to its tournament schedule, expanding its list of weekly tournaments and also modifying its satellite system.

Two Sunday majors have been added, featuring a combined guarantee of $200,000.

The updated schedule is already live and players have more tournaments to choose from, with bigger guarantees on offer each week!

$150K GTD Sunday Party & $50K GTD Sunday Carnival

Among the key additions to partypoker’s tournament schedule is the “Sunday Party”, a $109 buy-in tournament taking place every Sunday. It features a guaranteed prize pool of $150,000, making it the site’s largest-guaranteed weekly tournament to date. partypoker tournaments at this buy-in level usually offer no more than $70,000 in guarantees.

Another exciting addition is the “Sunday Carnival” which offers a cheaper alternative for the Sunday Party as it costs just $22 to enter. For that affordable buy-in, players will compete for $50,000 in guaranteed prize money. The tournament adopts the same structure as the Sunday Party, except for the blinds which increase every eight minutes, in contrast to Sunday Party which is played to 12-minute levels.

partypoker is running satellites for both poker tournaments which players can enter for as low as $0.01.

partypoker Extends Expiry Dates for Satellites

partypoker has always considered feedback from its players especially new players who are still learning the rules, resulting in major changes to the site’s satellite system. Players will now have more flexibility on their satellite wins as the expiry dates have been extended to 45 days, which is quite longer compared to the seven-day validity implemented in the past.

The operator has also addressed concerns from players regarding auto-registrations. From now on, players entering satellites, especially the phased satellites, will not be automatically registered to the target tournament.

On top of that, partypoker is also adding more satellites that feed into all of the site’s Daily Legends and Supers tournaments, giving players more chances of winning big.

The schedule for the Daily Legends and Supers has been adjusted to accommodate as many players as possible, especially those outside Europe.

With Daily Legends now running from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., players can be sure there’s a Daily Legend tournament available every time they log in to partypoker. The tournaments are now running seven days a week, with a new Saturday tournament added, the $215 buy-in, $30K GTD Big Weekend.

Supers can now be played on Fridays and Saturdays, with buy-ins ranging from $5.50 to $530.
