BetMGM Poker US Unveils New Tournament Offerings Ahead Of The Holidays

An influx of new tournament offerings and promotions are coming to poker players playing online poker in the US ahead of the holidays.

Over the past few weeks, multiple operators have announced a line-up of tournaments running throughout November and December. Now, it’s BetMGM Poker’s turn to do the same.

The operator has just unveiled a fresh set of tournament series and promotions for its players across its three US markets, New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania, starting with the “Big Shots”.

Big Shots

Big Shots got underway on November 13 and runs until November 20, 2022, with almost $1 million in combined guarantees up for grabs across the three states. Overall, 19 tournaments are running in each state, with entry fees ranging from $100 to $535. There’s $350,000 guaranteed in both New Jersey and Michigan, with $250,000 on offer in Pennsylvania.

The series culminates in the $535 buy-in Main Event which features $75K in guarantees in New Jersey and Michigan, and $50K in Pennsylvania.

6-Figure Sunday and Monster Monday Tournament

Big Shots will be followed by a flagship Sunday tournament which will also take place in each of the three states, featuring $100,000 in guarantees. The tournament, which costs $1,000 to enter, is scheduled to run one Sunday each month from November 27 to December 31. It’s the first time that BetMGM Poker is running a six-figure guaranteed tournament simultaneously across the three markets.

The operator will be running direct satellites with a $100 buy-in, and players may also participate in the Early Bird Freeroll running as part of the Big Shots series to secure a seat into the $1,000 Sunday tournament.

BetMGM Poker has also added a new “Monster Monday Tournament” which takes place every Monday from November 28 to December 31. Players in all three states will also be able to take part in the tournament which has a buy-in of only $50 and guarantees $3,000. The tournament offers unlimited re-entry, with late registration closing at the end of level 15.

In addition to that, BetMGM Poker will also be hosting mega qualifiers for “The Return”, a $3 million-guaranteed championship poker tournament which takes place at Hotel Borgata Casino Spa & Resorts in January 2023. The online qualifiers kick off on November 20.
