The start of the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is just a few days away and there is a lot of buzz in Las Vegas already.

The 2021 WSOP is set to run at the Rio from Sep 30 to Nov 23 in the USA and there are a lot of changes that players need to watch out for.

The first and most important thing that players need to adhere to is full COVID vaccination. The WSOP has made it mandatory for players to be fully vaccinated 14 days before showing up to the WSOP.

Players will need to provide proof of vaccination or they will not be allowed to play at the WSOP, though dealers at the event are excluded.

The WSOP is partnering with CBS Sports for live streaming coverage this season. CBS Sports is set to create a new record as 18 WSOP bracelet events will be live streamed this season.

The WSOP Main Event will also get a lot of attention as 15 hours of content will be streamed. The content will be exclusively produced by PokerCentral.

The WSOP has retained a number of its classic events but is also introducing a number of new events. We take a look at some of these events that are expected to generate a lot of interest at the tables.

The Heads Up No-Limit Hold’em Championship is a regular event at the WSOP but this year, the WSOP has raised the buy-in from $10,000 to $25,000 and capped the number of players to 64. This event will take place on Oct 5.

The Seniors Doubles Up is also a regular event but this time around it will feature two starting flights and allow players one optional re-entry on each starting flight. The buy-in for this event is fixed at $1,000 and it runs on Oct 27 and 28.

# Vaccination Proof
