The 2018 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event is underway<\/a> and poker pros from all over the world will be battling it out to win one of the most prestigious poker events in the world and walk away with over a million dollars.<\/p>\n While there is no one formula to winning the Main Event, there are many tips and tricks to having a decent run at the title. <\/p>\n Some of the champions from previous WSOP Main Events have dished out advice to help current participants at the 2018 WSOP Main Event.<\/p>\n The WSOP Main Event has three starting flights: Day 1a, Day 1b, and Day 1c<\/strong>. While you can never predict who is going to play when, 2003 WSOP champ Chris Moneymaker<\/strong> says it is best to play during the first two days to have ample time to rest before you head on to Day 2. He says that many players who have been grinding throughout the WSOP tend to play on Day 1c, making it a little more packed and tighter than the other two days. <\/p>\n While everyone focuses on strategy and gameplay, it is vitally important to eat healthy and get as much rest as you can. Playing the whole Main Event up to the final table means you\u2019ll be playing 12 hours a day for 10 days straight. If you do not get proper sleep and eat healthy, you will struggle to last throughout the tournament and be at your best.
