WPTDeepStacks Online Event Returns With $3 Million In Guarantees

The World Poker Tour (WPT) is once again teaming up with 888poker for another edition of WPTDeepStacks, a high-stakes online poker series that runs from November 28 to December 21.

The festival features $3 million in guaranteed prizes, spread out across 28 events.

WPT Continues Partnership with 888poker

The first WPT DeepStacks online series ran on 888poker back in April. The schedule was comprised of 16 events, with $2 million in combined guaranteed prize pools. WPT Vice President for Global Tour Management Angelica Hael said they’re excited to bring back WPT DeepStacks with 888poker as their official partner.

888poker brand ambassador Dominik Nitsche said WPT DeepStacks is great for casual players who are keen on winning a WPT title. Nitsche, a WPT champion himself, said WPT DeepStacks gives players the chance to win big starting from low buy-ins without having to leave their home. Nitsche is also excited about the upcoming online action.

WPT DeepStacks – Key Details

The series will be headlined by the $1,050 buy-in WPTDS Main Event which comes with a $1 million guarantee. Players may enter via 10 starting flights which kick off on December 5, but they can also win their way into the tournament by taking part in satellites for as low as $0.01. Daily poker freerolls are also running on 888poker, which will award $200,000 worth of satellite and sub-satellite tickets.

888pokerTV, 888poker’s Twitch channel, will livestream the final table action in six events, including the WPTDS #1: $200K GTD Opening Event (Nov. 29), WPTDS #9: $200K GTD PKO (Dec. 6), WPTDS #11: $100K High Roller (Dec. 8), WPTDS #17: $200K Crazy 8 [8max] (Dec. 13), WPTDS #25: $200K Big Shot 109 Main Event (Dec. 20), and WPTDS #28: $1M Main Event (Dec. 21).

The WPT’s Matt Savage and Tony Dunst, as well as Nick Wealthall and David Tuchman of 888poker, will take charge of the livestream.

Players get the opportunity to compete with 888poker ambassadors Sam Abernathy, Sofia Lovgren and Vivian Saliba. Nitsche will also be joining the action.
