Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n Some of the most popular events scheduled for the 2023 PokerStars European Poker Tour Cyprus<\/strong> were the high stakes events<\/a> and the Main Event. <\/p>\n The poker tournament is taking place at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa and has seen a nice turnout of top poker players from all over the world<\/a>.<\/p>\n The $2,200 Eureka High Roller<\/em> event attracted a pretty big field with a total of 1,444 registrations. The event saw a number of top poker players including Tom Middleton, Anton Wigg and Piotr Nurzynski<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The playing field was cut down to 216 players on Day 2 and further whittled down to 9 players after 13 hours. After another 4 hours of play, there were just 3 players remaining at the table.<\/p>\n Valeriy Pak<\/strong> from Belarus, Takahiro Tsugu<\/strong> from Japan and Van Der Swaluw<\/strong> from the Netherlands were the final 3 players left standing and they decided to cut a deal to determine the winner. Pak ended up winning the flip for the trophy and collected $338,460 for his first place finish, Tsugu collected $300,000 and Van Der Swaluw settled for $292,320.<\/p>\n The $50,000 Super High Roller<\/em> event ensured that only the top high stakes poker players in the world would play due to the high buy-in. Some of the top poker players that participated in this event included Adrian Mateos, Ognyan Dimov, Mikita Badziakouski, Steve O\u2019Dywer, Artur Martirosian and Joao Vieira<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The playing field consisted of poker players from all around the world as evidenced by the final 6 players. Two of them were from Spain, one from the UK<\/a>, one from China, one from the Netherlands and one from Germany.<\/p>\n The final two players at the table were Spaniards Juan Pardo<\/strong> and Vicente Delgado<\/strong>. They decided to enter into a heads-up deal to determine the winner and Pardon ended up winning.
