Summary: <\/strong><\/p>\n Brazil is set to play host to the biggest-ever poker event in Latin America, courtesy of GGPoker<\/strong><\/a> and the Kings Series of Poker<\/strong> (KSOP). Both brands have joined forces for the \u201cKSOP GGPoker South America<\/strong>\u201d, a massive live poker festival that gets underway in January 2024 in Rio de Janeiro. <\/p>\n KSOP is a Brazilian poker event organizer, owned by Kings Eventos. Established in 2014, the brand has been in partnership with GGPoker since earlier this year, hosting tournaments in Brazil under the KSOP-GGPoker banner. <\/p>\n Kicking off on January 24, 2024, the upcoming series runs for 15 days at the Riocentro Convention & Event Center located in the beachside neighborhood of Barra da Tijuca in Rio. The festival features more than 70 events with a combined guarantee of R$35 million (US$7 million). Of that figure, R$10 million (US$2 million) goes to the Main Event. <\/p>\n The tournament costs R$5,000 (US$1,000) to enter, with the winner guaranteed to take home R$2 million in top prize.
