Summary:

Daniel Negreanu finally won a game on High Stakes Duel (HSD) at the expense of high-stakes player and casino owner Eric Persson.

The GGPoker ambassador previously lost three straight matches to Phil Hellmuth during the second season of the show in 2021. He was successful in his second attempt on the show, defeating Persson in Round 1 of HSD IV.

The match took place on May 8 at the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Las Vegas, with both players buying in for $50,000.
