The WPT World Championship ended up winning the \u201c<em>2022 Poker Event of the Year<\/em>\u201d and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/news\/uks-stephen-chidwick-wins-two-awards-at-4th-global-poker-awards-ceremony\">fourth annual Global Poker Awards<\/a> and the next edition is set to get bigger and better.<\/p>\n<p>The WPT World Championship festival will start on Nov. 29 and end on Dec. 23, with the World Championship set to take place from Dec 12 to 18. Poker players have a lot of exciting action to look forward to during the festival as the WPT Prime Championship will run from Dec 16 to 18 while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/news\/wpt-will-host-special-ladies-championship-in-december-at-wynn-resorts\">a special WPT Ladies Championship<\/a> will run from Dec 12 to 18.<\/p>\n<p>The WPT World Championship festival will also feature a Seniors Event from Dec 6 to 8 and a popular <em>Mystery Bounty<\/em> event that will run from Dec 18 to 21. The WPT has confirmed that a finalized schedule of events will be finalized and published in the coming months. To keep tabs on the finalized schedule, do check out the Wynn Las Vegas official website.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"2022-wpt-world-championship-massive-success\">2022 WPT World Championship \u2013 Massive Success<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/news\/world-poker-tour-gears-up-for-record-breaking-2022-wpt-world-championship\">WPT World Championship in Dec 2022<\/a> at Wynn Las Vegas did far better than the WPT would have expected. The WPT World Championship had a $15 million guaranteed prize pool and received an overwhelming response as 2,960 entries which nearly doubled the prize pool to $29,008,000 and saw the top 370 players finish in the money.<\/p>\n<p>Canadian <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pokerdb.thehendonmob.com\/player.php?a=r&amp;n=762957\">Eliot Hudon<\/a><\/strong> ended up beating Brit <strong>Benny Glaser<\/strong> in the final which earned Hudon a total of $4,136,000 while Glaser ended up with $2,830,000. The WPT announced that it had paid out over $53 million in prize money during the WPT World Championship festival.<\/p>\n<p>The WPT said that it was pleased with its partnership with Wynn Las Vegas
