The poker festival commenced on Jan 4 and will run till Jan 17 featuring a total of 16 poker events. Things will heat up pretty quickly at the Choctaw Casino as players will get a chance to $500 buy-in to The Gargantuan event which feature $300,000 in guaranteed prize money.<\/p>\n<p>The two week poker festival will have something for everyone as there is a nice mix of poker events and different buy-ins to enable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/blog\/building-a-poker-bankroll-mistakes-to-avoid\">poker players with different bankrolls<\/a> to participation in the WSOPC series. Some of the events that are interesting includes <strong>a special Ladies only event on Jan 8 which has a buy-in of $130, two senior events and a Twilight event which features a $500 buy-in and a prize pool of $300,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The highlight of the WSOPC Choctaw Casino will be the Main Event which is set to take place from 12 Jan. The Main Event has a $1,700 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $1.5 million. The <em>2022 WSOPC Choctaw Casino Main Event<\/em> saw a total of 1,411 entries and <a href=\"https:\/\/pokerdb.thehendonmob.com\/player.php?a=r&amp;n=32314\">Quan Tran<\/a> went on to win the Main Event and take home $338,000.<\/p>\n<p>All players who win a WSOPC event at the Choctaw Casino will get a WSOP ring and will automatically be entered into the <em>Tournament of Champions freeroll<\/em> which has a $1 million prize pool. The freeroll will close during the 2023 WSOP in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"wsopc-stops-in-the-next-few-months\">WSOPC Stops In The Next Few Months<\/h2>\n<p>If you are looking for top live poker action, take note of the upcoming WSOPC stops. The next stop will be at the <strong>Thunder Valley Casino<\/strong> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/top-10-us-poker-sites\/california\">California<\/a> from Jan 12 to 23, the over to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/top-10-us-poker-sites\/mississippi\">Mississippi<\/a> for a stop at the Horseshoe Tunica from Jan 19 to
