Many were disappointed at the manner by which the GGPoker employee delivered the bad news to the poker pro. In her message to Kade, she suggested that it was Kade\u2019s own fault why her account was closed.<\/p>\n<p>Everything stemmed from the comments Kade made back in December of last year when GGPoker signed Bilzerian as its newest brand ambassador. Kade criticized the site for hiring a \u201c<em>misogynist<\/em>\u201c, who is not suitable to represent the game of poker. Bilzerian fought back with a short, derogatory reply, describing Kade as a \u201c<em>hoe<\/em>\u201c. GGPoker initially stayed mum on the matter, but Kade continued attacking the site for a number of days.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"we-cannot-control-everything\">We Cannot Control Everything<\/h2>\n<p>In its statement, GGPoker admitted that Bilzerian reacted inappropriately to Kade\u2019s comments, and that the derogatory remark shouldn\u2019t have been made. However, the site also said it has no control over everything that its ambassadors say or do on social media. <\/p>\n<p>GGPoker also appealed to the poker media to \u201c<em>understand the logic<\/em>\u201d behind the recent happenings and avoid publicly mentioning the name its employee who became the subject of cyber-bullying when Kade posted without consent their private conversation.  <\/p>\n<p>The online poker operator also expressed its continuing commitment to promote and grow the game for everyone, saying it\u2019s doing its best to \u201c<em>address inclusivity in poker<\/em>\u201c.  <\/p>\n<p>Despite the recent issues, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/news\/ggpoker-welcomes-dan-bilzerian-as-its-latest-brand-ambassador\">Bilzerian keeps his role as GGPoker ambassador<\/a>, though he hasn\u2019t done much to promote the site three months after being signed. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/blog\/why-is-king-dan-bilzerian-considered-such-a-poker-badass\">Bilzerian has a massive following on Twitter and Instagram<\/a>, a key factor which could have influenced GGPoker to hire him, despite his tainted reputation.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GGPoker issued an apology following the recent controversy involving poker player Vanessa Kade, whose affiliate account was terminated by the online poker site over comments she made in December 2020 regarding Dan Bilzerian joining GGPoker as brand ambassador.
