According to Wool, the site also \u201c<em>ignored<\/em>\u201d his appeal request.<\/p>\n<center>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u26a0\ufe0fWarning UK players!\u26a0\ufe0f I contacted <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GGPoker?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@GGPoker<\/a> to increase my deposit limits since new UKGC regulations and they\u2019ve permanently shut my account down. Top work. ?<br>\u26b0\ufe0fRIP ruffler \u26b0\ufe0f <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/BM9y1uByCD\">pic.twitter.com\/BM9y1uByCD<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 dawhiteninja (@whiteninjapoker) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/whiteninjapoker\/status\/1355500469792215042?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 30, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\"><\/script><\/p><\/center>\n<p>Wool who previously praised GGPoker for prioritizing recreational players, may now be having a change of heart, as the online platform has now appeared to turn its back on the pros. <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"poker-pros-share-similar-experience\">Poker Pros Share Similar Experience<\/h2>\n<p>Comments on Wool\u2019s warning tweet indicate he isn\u2019t the only player to have encountered such issues, and the main problem appears to revolve around changes to deposit limits and requiring players to show proof of earnings which others are unable to provide. <\/p>\n<p>Some pros shared that GGPoker also declined requests to increase their deposit limits. Among them was <strong>Ryan Hutchinson<\/strong> who said that he\u2019s only allowed to make daily deposits of up to $200 on the site, that\u2019s despite submitting proof of his account balances sitting at over $100K. <\/p>\n<center>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">its $200\/day capped at $1.3k\/month. So someone earning minimum wage w\/ 30k cc debt is allowed to deposit their entire monthly salary. The <strong>UK Gambling Commission<\/strong> (UKGC) has amplified its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/news\/uk-gambling-commission-proposes-changes-to-provide-better-protection-to-players\">campaign against gambling addiction<\/a> by requiring operators to carry out stricter affordability checks and necessary reviews when players ask to increase their deposit limit. <\/p>\n<p>When a player fails to provide the required documents, any request for a deposit limit increase will be rejected. This is a complicated matter for poker pros who play the game for a living as they cannot provide wage slips.  <\/p>\n<p>Unlike Wool, Hutchinson\u2019s account still exists, but he is raising concerns over GGPoker\u2019s real agenda, accusing the site of trying to shut down winning pros and using the UKGC regulations to justify their actions. <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ggpoker-clears-name\">GGPoker Clears Name <\/h2>\n<p>GGPoker defended their decisions, saying they\u2019re only complying with the law.
