Well, a prominent figure in the world of poker believes the US needs a new leader. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Lena Evans<\/strong>, founder of the world\u2019s largest women\u2019s poker organization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/news\/female-poker-pros-getting-much-needed-boost-from-poker-league-of-nations\">Poker League of Nations<\/a> (PLON) is backing Joe Biden\u2019s Presidential campaign. She organized a political group called <strong>Winning Women for Biden-Harris<\/strong> to show her strong support for the Democratic candidate. <\/p>\n<p>On October 4, Winning Women for Biden-Harris will host a virtual poker tournament to raise funds for Biden\u2019s Presidential bid, and several big names will participate, including <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/news\/maria-ho-thrilled-to-be-inducted-into-the-2018-women-in-poker-hall-of-fame\">Maria Ho<\/a>, Jennifer Harman and Jennifer Shahade<\/strong>, as well as World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner <strong>Greg Raymer<\/strong>. Poker Hall of Fame inductee <strong>Linda Johnson<\/strong>, known as the \u201c<em>First Lady of Poker<\/em>\u201c, will also take part.<\/p>\n<p>The virtual poker tournament, which is set to take place on the PokerStars play money app, comes with a $100 registration fee which goes directly to the Biden Victory Fund. Upon signing up, participants will then be invited to a virtual private poker Home Game. Prizes will be awarded to the players who make the final table, courtesy of clothing company <a href=\"https:\/\/suitedpokergear.com\">Suited Poker Gear<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"why-poker-pros-support-biden\">Why Poker Pros Support Biden<\/h2>\n<p>Hosting fundraising events for the Democratic Party is something Evans has been doing for the past three decades. Back in 2016, she also supported <strong>Hillary Clinton<\/strong>\u2018s presidential campaign and even worked as a member of her National Finance Team. Evans also campaigned for <strong>Andrew Yang<\/strong> during the Democratic primaries, though the entrepreneur, who supports the nationwide legalization of online poker, later withdrew his candidacy.<\/p>\n<p>Biden is slightly ahead of Trump in the latest national polls, but there shouldn\u2019t be no room for complacency if the Democratic Party wants Biden to ultimately succeed in the race. As we can remember, Clinton was also leading the polls in the 2016 elections, but expectations were shattered when Trump ended up as the winner. <\/p>\n<p>Greg Raymer, the winner of the 2004 WSOP Main Event, believes Trump should not be given another chance to lead the country as he and his enablers are \u201c<em>undermining the democracy<\/em>\u201d of the American people.
