The second part of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Bracelet Series<\/a> on GGPoker includes a charity event which successfully concluded on July 26. <\/p>\n Event $33: $1,111 buy-in Every 1 for COVID Relief<\/em> attracted a massive field of 2,323 entrants from all over the world, raising a total of $257,853 for the Caesars Cares assistance fund<\/a>. <\/p>\n Each participant donated $111 of their entry fee to the fundraising drive which will benefit Caesars Entertainment employees who are severely affected by the COVID-19 crisis. GGPoker pledged another $96,903, bringing the total donation to $354,756. <\/p>\n Previous efforts by GGPoker also resulted in more than $250,000 raised for various causes over the past six months. The said amount was reached by also hosting multiple charity tournaments, participated in by the global poker community. <\/p>\n The $1,111 Every 1 for Covid Relief (Caesars Cares) was taken down by Canada\u2019s Alek Stasiak<\/strong> after defeating Argentina\u2019s Martin \u201ccolinchow<\/em>\u201d Ilobera<\/strong> heads-up to secure his first-ever gold bracelet, along with the top prize of $343,203.53. Ilobera settled for second for $246,765.50. <\/p>\n The rest of the final table was made up of Norihiro \u201corzorz<\/em>\u201d Otani<\/strong> (9th), Stewart \u201cStew_233<\/em>\u201d Kilpatrick<\/strong> (8th), Andreas \u201cAddichip\u201d Phouli<\/strong> (7th), Evan \u201cNEONPILS99<\/em>\u201d Parkes<\/strong> (6th) and David \u201cBatSoup789<\/em>\u201d Montoya<\/em> (5th). Abhinav \u201cOBellaCiao<\/em>\u201d Iyer<\/strong> and Harry \u201cVulvasore<\/em>\u201d Lodge<\/strong> finished 4th and 3rd respectively. <\/p>\n Ty Stewart<\/strong>, Executive Director for the WSOP, thanked GGPoker for its tremendous contribution towards raising much-needed fund for Caesars Cares, which will help big time in supporting Caesars Entertainment team members who are currently struggling to cope with the financial challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
