There are just a few months left before the 2020 World Series of Poker<\/a> (WSOP) kicks off, and while the schedule is still being finalised, players are all pumped up to be part of another huge year for the world\u2019s longest-running and most prestigious poker festival. <\/p>\n We take a look at what the WSOP has confirmed so far.<\/p>\n The 2020 WSOP is set to return at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on May 26 to July 15. Organisers have been giving us regular updates as well monitoring the coronavirus situation<\/a> as they continue to put together the final list of events for the festival\u2019s 51st edition. So far, the WSOP has announced a total of 79 events, both live and online. <\/p>\n Among the confirmed events are WSOP mainstays, including the Colossus event, Millionaire Maker, Seniors Event, Little One for One Drop, Monster Stack, Seniors Event<\/em> and of course, the Main Event<\/em>. <\/p>\n New events have also been pencilled in, such as the \u201cValue Menu<\/em>\u201d events featuring buy-ins of $1,000 and below, the \u201cFreezeout Series<\/em>\u201d comprising of events that will be played in freezeout format, as well as an exciting Mystery Bounty<\/em> tournament. A new $10K Online High Roller<\/em> has also been announced.<\/p>\n The 51st WSOP will also introduce a new $250K Super High Roller<\/em>, the largest buy-in event in the festival\u2019s history. It will headline the 2020 WSOP High Roller Series<\/em> which features a total of nine events with buy-ins not going below $25,000. The first-ever $50,000 Pot Limit Omaha<\/em> event will also be part of the Series.<\/p>\n Apart from this, there will also be a new High Roller Leaderboard, also a first for the festival.<\/p>\nHigh Roller Series & High Roller Leaderboard<\/h2>\n
