Michael Zhang has added another major score to his resume after winning the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe €25,500 Super High Roller held on August 13-14 at King’s Resorts Rozvadov.

Zhang managed to outlast a field of 42 entries to capture the top prize of €350,000.

Zhang’s latest victory marks his second partypoker LIVE MILLIONS title after also taking down the €51,000 buy-in Super High Roller event at the same series in February 2018, where he captured a career-best prize of €800,000.

Nine players managed to reach the final table of the €25K Super High Roller but only six of them were able to take a slice of the €997,500 prize pool. The three other players who left the table empty handed were German poker pro Ole Schemion, partypoker ambassador Kristen Bicknell and Australia’s Kahle Burns.

Among the six finalists who cashed in the event, Malaysian player Choon Siow became the first player to receive his share of the prize money after exiting in 6th place for €60,000. He was followed to the rail by Germany’s Steffen Sontheimer who finished 5th earning €85,000.

Triton co-founder Paul Phua continued his deep runs this month after collecting €112,500 for his 4th place finish. The Malaysian businessman managed to cash in three events at the recently-concluded Triton Poker Super High Series in London, with a runner-up finish (£2,558,305) in the £100,000 buy-in Main Event being his highest score during the tour.

After Phua’s elimination, Selahaddin Bedir was the next player to bust, winning €160,000 for finishing in 3rd place. The Turkish poker pro was able to break his previous highest live score of $94,490 for his 7th place finish in the $5300 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the Merit Poker Classic, Kyrenia in May.

An exciting heads-up battle then ensued between Zhang and Dutch player Tom Vogelsang, who eventually walked away with €230,000 for his second place finish. This win is significantly higher than all his combined lifetime winnings in live poker events.

Final Table Results
