They will engage in intense poker action for three days, playing down to a winner who will ultimately take home what\u2019s likely to be the biggest top prize in the history of the game. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Triton Poker<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%\">\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HfHQV1tlxJE?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0?ecver=2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s take a look at the players taking part in the massive event, and the main highlights of their respective careers.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"triton-million-players-key-facts-figures\">Triton Million Players \u2013 Key Facts &amp; Figures<\/h2>\n<p>A total of 54 players signed up for <a href=\"https:\/\/triton-series.com\/triton-million\/\">the Triton Million event<\/a>, surpassing the fields of all one million buy-in events before it. The 2012 Big One for One Drop drew 48 entries, the number of participants in the 2014 edition jumped to 42, while the numbers dropped in the last two editions, with 28 in 2016, and 27 in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Only three players were able to take part in all four one million buy-in events: <strong>Rick Salomon, Cary Katz and Talal Shakerchi<\/strong>, all of whom are playing at the Triton Million. Salomon managed to cash in all three events he played, finishing 4th in 2014 for $2,800,000, winning 3rd in 2016 for \u20ac3,000,000 and taking home $2,840,000 for finishing 4th in 2018. <\/p>\n<p>Of the 54 registered players, six have participated in two of the four one million buy-in events. They are <strong>Sam Trickett, Dan Smith, Bobby Baldwin, Paul Phua, Haralabos Voulgaris and Christoph Vogelsang<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Sosia Jiang, Zang Shu Nu, Liang Yu, Chin Wei Li, Qiang Wang, Chow Hing Yaing, Alfred DeCarolis, Rob Yong, Ferdinand Putra and Pat Madden<\/strong> are wagering more taking part in this event than they\u2019ve earned throughout their lives playing live tournaments, as their lifetime winnings are lower than the \u00a31,050,000 ($1,283,324) buy-in.<\/p>\n<p>Eleven players have cashed a $1 million buy-in event before. They are <strong>Justin Bonomo, Andrew Pantling, Fedor Holz, Dan Smith, Richard Yong, Trickett, Vogelsang, Salomon, Baldwin, Tsang and Katz<\/strong>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsop.com\/news\/2016\/Oct\/7950\/ELTON-TSANG-WINS-2016-BIG-ONE-FOR-ONE-DROP.html\">Elton Tsang won the 2016 Big One for One Drop in Monte Carlo<\/a> for a whopping \u20ac11,111,111.
