WPT CEO <strong>Adam Pliska<\/strong> said the new season will be even more exciting and adventurous. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/news\/wpt-will-continue-final-table-concept-in-2020\">WPT\u2019s delayed final tables<\/a> which played out at the new state-of-the-art <strong>HyperX Esports Arena at Luxor in Las Vegas<\/strong>, was met with mixed feedback from players and the entire poker community, but one thing is certain: the company has learned a lot from this experiment and they\u2019re looking at giving everyone an improved experience going forward. <\/p>\n<p><strong>World Poker Tour<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%\">\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aCesYyCy6v4?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0?ecver=2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While the delayed final tables initially felt strange and uncomfortable for some, everyone appears to have adjusted and accepted the new format. The WPT will continue to fine-tune the final table experience by creating more of a sporting event feel at the tables, with extra hype, chip counts shown on the big screen, letting the audience join in on the fun, as well as breaktime entertainment. By the time Season XVIII is held, all equipment have been permanently set up at the new venue, avoiding massive transport costs and therefore saving the company millions.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"developing-partnerships-for-expansion\">Developing Partnerships For Expansion<\/h2>\n<p>As it continues to expand its horizons and reach a wider customer base, the WPT is eyeing more partnerships with huge companies in different countries. The brand has just started to build its visibility in Mexico, being watched by millions of Latin Americans on Channel 7, which controls almost 50% of free television in the country. In line with its expansion goal, the tour will also be adding more stops in at least 25 countries in the next season. <\/p>\n<p>The WPT has also teamed up with the Taiwanese company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ctpclub\/\">Chinese Texas Hold\u2019em Poker Association<\/a>, known as CTP, which will help them gain foothold in Taiwan\u2019s booming poker market. WTP will hold its first stop in the country on July 12-22, 2019 at the CTP property in Taipei City. <\/p>\n<p>Among the tour\u2019s other new stops is at The Star Gold Coast in Australia, which was made possible through the efforts of <strong>Angelica Hael<\/strong>, VP of Global Tour Management for WPT, who also hails from the same country.
