""Bryn Kenney stole the show at the 2019 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Montenegro after taking down the HKD 1,000,000 Main Event. He topped a field of 75 entries, taking home the top prize of HKD 21,300,000 ($2,713,876).

The American poker had earlier had a 7 figure cashout at the same series when he won the HKD 500,000 No-Limit Hold’em Six Max and took home $1,432,264 for his efforts.

Main Event: Final Table Action

Kenney began to build up his chips at the final table after sending Triton Poker Co-Founder Paul Phua out of the game. Phua settled in sixth place for $572,000. He was followed by Samuel Greenwood who was eliminated in fifth place after a failed bluff against Mikita Badziakouski.

Badziakouski was heating up the action early in the game after eliminating Triton Poker Ambassador Jason Koon and Matthias Eibinger. Koon ended up in eighth place for $261,195, while Eibenger held the eighth spot for $341,464. Erik Seidel also bowed out of the game in seventh place after losing his queen nine-suited against Badziakouski’s ace-ten. Seidel took home $440,846.

Down to the final four with Kenney, Peter Jetten and Danny Tang, Badziakouski couldn’t keep his momentum. He was the first to bid goodbye in fourth place after getting stuck on the losing end of a big flip. Badziakouski won $925,011 for his fourth-place finish.

A three cornered-fight ensued between Kenney, Tang and Jetten. Kenney was the clear frontrunner, dominating the chip count by leaps and bounds. Jetten eventually exited the game in third place with $1,223,155. Jetten’s elimination left Kenney and Tang competing heads-up at the final table, with Kenney holding a 12:1 chip edge. The heads-up play didn’t last long after Kenney nailed a straight with queen-jack suited.

Kenney finished on top while Tang earned $1,796,509 for his runner-up finish – an impressive performance considering that it was his first-ever HKD 1,000,000 event.
