The World Poker Tour<\/strong> (WPT) recently announced that it is partnering with two major brands, BT Sport<\/a> and 888poker in order to strengthen its European presence.<\/p>\n After signing a deal with one of the UK\u2019s largest providers of televised sports content, poker fans in the UK and Ireland can now watch a selection of WPT events, which will kick off with Season XV of the US-based tournament, highlighting Mike Sexton\u2019s journey to his first ever WPT title<\/a>, as well as Sam Panzica<\/strong>\u2019s back-to-back victory.<\/p>\n The broadcast deal will give British and Irish poker fans a new way to enjoy poker from the comfort of their own homes, and will enable WPT to reach new demographics. Richard Sarris<\/strong>, WPT\u2019s manager of content distribution, said their partnership with BT Sport will have a vital contribution to WPT\u2019s ongoing efforts to expand on a global scale. <\/p>\n888poker Partnership<\/h2>\n
