The results of the beta test were positive and as a result, PokerStars has decided to launch its VR offering across worldwide locations.<\/p>\n<p>PokerStars players now have the opportunity to test out the VR offering which brings the live poker and online poker experience together. Users who would like to try out the VR offering will have to download the software via <strong>Steam, Viveport or Oculus<\/strong>. The VR offering was developed in partnership with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.getluckyvr.com\">leading VR developer Lucky VR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oculus<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%\">\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7vsKm4BF7HY?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0?ecver=2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This new VR offering can be experienced in five different settings by players from all over the world. The five different settings available include <strong>The Void, Macau 2050, Monte-Carlo Yacht, The Macau Suite and Showdown Saloon<\/strong>. The VR offering can also be synced with Oculus Rift streaming and Twitch streaming.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, <strong>Severin Rasset<\/strong>, Director of Poker Innovation and Operations at PokerStars said <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>When we showcased the product, it was amazing to see people really enjoy and become engrossed in the game. We wanted to venture into the world of virtual reality because we believe it is an exciting avenue of technology to explore and something that our players would appreciate. I highly recommend that everyone tries out the game as it can only truly be understood and enjoyed by experiencing it<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"initial-reaction-from-players\">Initial Reaction From Players<\/h2>\n<p>PokerStars players have generally not been too open to change. However, this new VR offering provides players with a brand new experience and so far the initial reactions have been pretty positive.<\/p>\n<p>The general consensus is that the new VR offering provides players with a fully immersive social gaming experience that allows them to have fun and unique gaming experience.
