Unfortunately for Schoons, <strong>Samir Akhoullou<\/strong> called with <em>a suited ace-queen<\/em> which held up. Schoons took home \u20ac5,080. <strong>Peter Dupont<\/strong> fell next when he shoved his short stack with <em>a king-queen<\/em>. DeMeulder re-raised chasing the rest of the table away and won with his <em>ace-ten<\/em>. Dupont\u2019s seventh-place finish netted him \u20ac6,350.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tom Hermans<\/strong> called a three-bet raise with his ace-eight but ran into Dominique Potenza\u2019s pocket nines which he was unable to beat. He then made his way to the cashier where he collected his \u20ac7,940 cash prize. After that, it was <strong>Jonas Van Baelen<\/strong> who jammed with his <em>king-jack<\/em>. DeMeulder went over the top with his <em>ace-king<\/em> forcing Akhoullou to fold. The board was no help to Van Baelen who finished in fifth place for a \u20ac10,320 payday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keon Lauwereys<\/strong> was running low and jammed his last chips with an ace-three out of the small blind and was called by Akhoullou and his pocket sixes in the big blind. The board didn\u2019t help Lauwereys who pocketed \u20ac13,420 for finishing fourth.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"final-three\">Final Three<\/h2>\n<p>It was the Potenza\u2019s turn to go when he went all-in out of the button with <em>a suited queen-jack<\/em>. DeMeulder called with <em>an ace-queen<\/em>. They both flopped their queens but that was all as Potenza lost to DeMeulder\u2019s kicker.<\/p>\n<p>It was then down to Akhoullou and Demeulder who went on a tear to take a commanding chip lead. The last hand saw DeMeulder\u2019s <em>pocket sixes<\/em> go up against Akhoullou\u2019s <em>suited eight-four<\/em>. While it was looking like Akhoullou might pull it off with a straight, DeMeulder <em>hit a boat on the river<\/em>.
