Those who can\u2019t come down to the <strong>Rio All-Suite<\/strong> can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/news\/2018-wsop-main-event-and-one-drop-will-air-on-espn-and-poker-central\">tune in to the sky high-stakes action via <strong>ESPN2<\/strong> and <strong>PokerGo<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Big One For One Drop is a charity event held every few years in Las Vegas, where part of the buy in goes directly to international non-profit organization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onedrop.org\">One Drop Foundation<\/a>. Founded by Cirque du Soleil founder <strong>Guy Lalibert\u00e9<\/strong>, the foundation aims to provide safe and potable water to countries who have limited access to such.<\/p>\n<p>The inaugural tournament was held in 2012 and was won by poker pro Antonio Esfandiari for $18,346,673.<\/p>\n<p><strong>One Drop<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%\">\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4PTtcDdgaqE?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0?ecver=2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Big One For One Drop will once again take place at the WSOP and a number of high stakes poker pros and first time players have already signed up for the One Drop event. The WSOP confirmed before the start of the 2018 edition that 30 out of the 48 seats have already been filled. <strong>Esfandiari, Daniel Negreanu, Rick Solomon, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey and Talal Shakerchi<\/strong> are just some of the players who have already signed up. These veteran poker pros have made it a habit to play at the One Drop and will once again have a crack at it in 2018. <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"poker-pros-confirmed-for-2018-big-one-for-one-drop\">Poker Pros Confirmed For 2018 Big One For One Drop<\/h2>\n<p>Also confirmed are One Drop first-timers <strong>Adrian Mateos, Jason Koon, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10pokersites.net\/news\/dominik-nitsche-wins-wsope-111111-one-drop-high-roller-event\">Dominik Nitsche<\/a>, Bryn Kenney, Rainer Kempe, Steffen \u201c<em>Goose<\/em>\u201d Sontheimer and Nick Petrangelo<\/strong>. King\u2019s Casino owner <strong>Leon Tsoukernik<\/strong> has also thrown his hat into the ring and will compete at the One Drop event for the very first time.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the confirmed players, the community is still waiting for a couple of names who have been playing in the first two One Drops if they will be coming back to the million-dollar stage for a third time.<\/p>\n<p>There are still more seats to be taken and the poker community want to see if some of the other top high stake poker pros such as <strong>Brian Rast<\/strong> will register. <\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Rast said, <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It\u2019s great the tournament was set up to raise money for charity, I can respect and appreciate that. I haven\u2019t decided yet. It\u2019s late in the series so I\u2019m going to wait and see. I\u2019ve been playing big cash games so I\u2019m going to see whether or not I\u2019m burned out.
