""The European Poker Tour (EPT) is back in Monte Carlo with the same exciting format and rich events. The top poker players from all over Europe are expected to fly in to Monaco and take part in this popular poker tournament.

Two years after the last EPT was held in Monaco, PokerStars has confirmed that it is bringing back the tournament which will take place from April 24 to May 4.

As per tradition, EPT Monte Carlo is hosting a number of low and high buy-in events, including six of the most anticipated events: the EPT National on April 25 to 28, the EPT Super High Roller on April 26 to 28, the EPT National High Roller on April 27 to 28, the EPT Cup at a low buy-in of €330 on April 26 to 29, the EPT High Roller on May 2 to 4, and of course the €5,300 EPT Main Event on April 28 to May 4.

These highlight events will all feature single re-entry (per flight, in the case of the EPT Cup and EPT National). Some of these events will use a shot clock, including the Main Event. All No-Limit Hold’Em events will be using the big blind ante format, following the footsteps of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), Wynn Classic, Aria Poker Classic, and more headline poker events.
