Top Contenders For 2018 SCOOP

We take a look at who are the top contenders that are likely to pose the biggest threat at the 2018 SCOOP.

Last year, player madalain won the low Main Event and turned his $109 to $221,516, while ROFLshove turned his $1,050 into $787,312 at the medium Main Event. The richest winner last year was ‘Epiphany777‘ (Charlie Carrel), who took home $1,200,899 after the $10,300 high Main Event. Carrel’s win was secured after he cut a deal with Harrison ‘gibler321‘ Gimbel who also had a nice payout of $1,122,873.

These online poker pros have the experience of winning at SCOOP and will once again be a threat this year. Online pros that have done well at previous SCOOP editions are also expected to be a threat. These include the likes of George Danzer who has already cashed at 148 events in SCOOP and Andy McLEOD who has cashed out in 105 events and won four high buy-in events.

Canadian players will continue to be a major force to be reckoned with at SCOOP since Canada continues to lead the online tournament with 111 Canadian event winners, followed by the UK with 86 and Germany with 64.
