3 NLH Special Events Taking Place In Las Vegas From Today

Last Updated on June 11, 2019 Author:Stefan Nedeljkovic

Thousands of poker players and fans from all over the world continue to flock to Las Vegas for an absolutely hectic summer schedule.

No doubt most of them are making their way over to the World Series of Poker (WSOP) which kicked off on May 28, and will run through July 16 at the Rio.

The series features 89 bracelet events, with total guarantees of more than $200 million.

However, poker action is not just confined to the Rio – players can also win big by taking part in events running in other casinos such as the Venetian, Binions, Aria, Orleans, the Wynn, Planet Hollywood and the Golden Nugget. In addition to countless tournaments, cash games are also running around the clock, giving players plenty of options to enjoy the summer.

Being the most popular poker game over the past decade, No-Limit Hold’ems (NLH) still feature the biggest turnouts at festivals, despite the wide variety of poker variants on the summer calendar.

If you’re still undecided on where to play your favourite NLH game in Vegas this summer, here are three NLH events this week that might interest you. Read on for further details.

NLH Events in Vegas Scheduled For June 11-15

Event #26: $2,620 buy-in NLH Marathon has just kicked off at the 2019 WSOP, providing one of the deepest structures in an NLH tournament, apart from the WSOP Main Event. Taking place over six days on June 10-15, the Marathon features 26,200 in starting chips, with each blind level lasting for 100 minutes. The event allows late registration until the end of Level 8 on Day 2.

The final day (June 15) will be live-streamed courtesy of CBS All Access (for audience based in the US, Australia and Canada), and PokerGO for those located in the rest of the globe.

There’s also a $1,100 NLH event taking place at the 2019 Wynn Summer Classic on June 11-13. There are two opening flights, and players will kick off with 20,000 in chips, played in 40-minute levels. Unlimited re-entries are allowed per flight. Surviving players will return on June 13 to compete for the lion’s share of the $1.5 million in total prize money.

The Venetian is a place online poker players wouldn’t want to go to due to its anti-online gambling stance, but the venue makes sure it still makes for a great summer destination by holding the Venetian DeepStack Championship Poker Series. One of the highlights of the series is the $600 NLH EpicStack scheduled for June 14-17.

The event features $750,000 in guarantees, with five opening flights. Players start with a big stack of 50,000 in chips, played in 30-minute levels. Once Level 27 starts, it will increase to 40 minutes. Judgement day takes place June 17.
