His nonprofit Why Not? Foundation, which he and his wife Nina are running for the purpose of raising money that would help empower underserved people in South Los Angeles, had agreed to partner with the World Poker Tour (WPT) Foundation on an upcoming poker charity event this Friday.
The Poker Night venture, which is the foundation’s fourth annual upscale fundraiser and one of its marquee events, will take place inside Wynn’s Intrigue Nightclub, one of the Strip’s most prestigious locations.
Everyone’s Invited
Poker aficionados and basketball fans alike are invited to the event, along with anyone else interested in giving a hand to a beneficial cause.
For a $7,500 donation, guests will be handed one ticket to the much-anticipated poker tournament that is expected to introduce world-class players.
Among them, WPT announcer and champion Tony Dunst, who will be busy providing live poker commentary.
Donors will also benefit from a one-night stay at Wynn on September 13, along with admission to a pre- and post-poker cocktail party for both the donor and a chosen guest.
Guests who are not interested in playing poker can still join in on the rest of the engaging activities after making a $1,200 donation.
