PokerStars To Award Platinum Passes As Part of Twitch Integration

The latest partnership between Twitch and PokerStars will see not just one, but two players being given Platinum Passes to one of the biggest and most prestigious poker festivals in the world.

These Platinum Passes will give them entry to the PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC) which is set to return to Barcelona in 2020.

PokerStars recently added a new feature to its online platform, allowing users to directly link their Twitch account to their PokerStars account, making them eligible for special offers and promotions. Earlier this month, those who performed the sync were given the chance to take part in a $5,000 all-in shootout freeroll.

Some more exciting perks will await PokerStars players who identify themselves as Twitch users by connecting their accounts. Twitch has been making an impact in the online streaming sphere by taking player engagement to a whole new level, helping forge communities and providing an avenue for fans and players to connect with each other. Since November 2019, PokerStars have been giving away Platinum Passes to lucky players all over the world. The Platinum Pass package is worth $30,000 (€26,000) includes a free seat to the €22,500 PSPC 2020 Main Event, six nights’ accommodation good for two in a five-star Barcelona hotel, airport transfers, and €1,250 for miscellaneous expenses.

The Platinum Pass winner will also get access to bespoke PSPC merchandise, and will enjoy activities on and off the felt in the Spanish capital. PokerStars is giving players an easy way to win two of these coveted passes through the Twitch integration promotion.

All you have to do is link your Twitch account with your PokerStars account, stream at least 10 hours of your own play via your own linked Twitch channel, and go to the PokerStars Twitch channel and watch at least 24 hours of coverage.

Selection Process

If you’ve already done that, what you have to do next is to wait for December 23. This is when PokerStars Twitch Ambassadors Georgina “GJ Reggie” James and Mason “PyeFace” Pye will choose the two lucky Platinum Pass winners. They will also get their hands on a stream-ready PC, alongside $1,000 in cash credited into their respective PokerStars accounts.
